New water refill station and goodbye to plastic bottles
While it may not be groundbreaking, and many have adopted it long before us, we are still pleased to have found a better solution with water refill stations for our café and conference guests instead of using plastic water bottles
Plastic bottles are therefore no longer available, and we fill water and sparkling water in carafes and place them in our meeting rooms.
Our fitness members with a PLUS membership receive a water bottle, which they can fill with water in the changing rooms and fitness center. The bottle is RCS-certified and made of 85% recycled stainless steel. Stainless steel can be recycled an infinite number of times while maintaining the quality of the material.
With this solution, we save up to 30 pallets of water, equivalent to approximately 45,000 bottles per year. This means less energy consumption, less water usage, and a reduction in CO2 emissions by not producing and transporting plastic bottles. Despite a very efficient return system in Denmark, unfortunately, many bottles also end up in nature.
We still have plastic water bottles in our display cases in the reception area, but they are only for resale.
